You know, for a country that has a Sun on their flag it always appears to be pretty cloudy. All your pictures (even from last year) are overcast. Rising sun my ass :-P.

Remember Manzo-chan, just like in Sim City, when there are loads of people and industry, the skies get nasty and opaque. I blame it on China's pollution drifting over here though. It should be clearer in the summertime though, so come then!!!! YEAH!!
You're right though, even being up stupidly early I haven't seen the sun rise yet. Maybe Japan is the sun, and that's why I can't see it?

no no, even better. the cylons have secretly taken over and are dampening everyone's mood by pumping in fake clouds. they already successfully tested this theory in seattle and you can see how effective that was. now they are taking on an entire country and their next target.....EARTH.
If there's going for the vulnerability of networked computers, they've come to the right place -- we've even got some completely automated trains here!
