Busy Weekend Ahead

So, I have a lot of traveling around to different schools in store soon.
(this post is also for my reference to quickly see where I have to go)

For those of who who want some fun with maps, here goes:
I always start in 根津(Nezu) on the Green Line - The biggest station I'm near is 上野(Ueno) on the Orange, Gray, & black/white lines.

Saturday I start at my normal school which is beyond 代々木上原(Yoyogi-Uehara) at the bottom left of the green line. Then I travel up to 池袋 (Ikebukuro), which is a the big station on the red, yellow, brown, & black/white lines.

Sunday is first in 練馬(Nerima), which is a little west of 池袋 (Ikebukuro - where I end on Saturday) -- then I shuttle over to Ikeb to finish my day there.

Anyway, this might not be the most interesting post since it's almost pure scheduling, but I promise to mention some cool foods that I have in these various areas in a few days. I know that Ikebukuro has some awesome ramen joints and a few good conveyor-belt sushi places too, so there's something to look forward to!

WTF Really? Is the one English phrase on the train map really necessary?

Ah, I forgot to mention, Metro Network is not the only English on that map. In the bottom left corner it says Designed by (something in Japanese). They just love using English at any chance they get...

Believe it or not, "Metro Network" is written under "Metoro Nettowaku" in Japanese characters. Both are borrowed words (just like how we'll talk about futons, ramen, etc. in English), but it was done so people like us can read at least the topic of the map :-)
So, enough linguistic talk -- I'm off to teach & eat some delicious ramen later on!
Mwah!
