つつじまつり at 根津神社

Monday's beautiful weather inspired me to take a walk, and I opted to visit Nezu Shrine (very close to me, but I never got around to it before).
They're having an azalea festival there, so this seemed like a perfect time.
I was right, so behold some great sights!

First, here are 4 children in a shopping cart-like device. They seemed to be loving it!


And now...... a true highlight which absolutely made my day.......

Visits

After doing some final-day prayers at Yasukuni Shrine and eating some rice, my parents departed for NJ on Tuesday the 15th and are now comfortably back in the homeland.


However, now Tressa's visit is only 8 days away (making her appearance on Saturday the 26th!)! Should be awesome!

The latest from "Mac"

In April, McDonald's here is serving up some "mega" sandwiches -- the three choices are "Mega Mac" (a Big Mac with double the beef), "Mega Teriyaki" (Teriyaki Burger with double meat), and my favorite, the "Mega Muffin" (an egg McMuffin with 2 sausage patties, bacon, and best of all: they even put on ketchup for you).
