Here's a winner!!

So, at an Okinawan restaurant, we ordered タコライス which is sounded out as "Tako Rice" -- tako being the Japanese word for "octopus", we were expecting some unique Okinawan delicacy.
However, since there's no way to indicate where the "k" sound is coming from a "K" or a "C" (and we foreigners didn't pick up on the use of the alphabet that's only used for foreign words), we were very surprised when our food arrived to see that instead we had ordered "Taco Rice" (with tortilla chips, salsa, cheese, and ground beef-- popularized in Okinawa by the US military presence on the island)!
However, it was delicious!
